Welcome to KGRiot! - My name is Kallie Garcia. After taking an amazing silkscreen workshop at Peach Berserk, I got the printing bug. I knew that making prints was now a part of who I am. I love art and creating so I enrolled myself in Mount Allison University to get my BFA.  A big inspiration to me is to educate myself and work with other artists.

I am influenced madly by repeating patterns, textures, home depot garbage, socially unacceptable behavior, abstraction, portals of the unknown, vintage scene, facing conformity, music and the mass consummation of western society.

Consistently struggling with the push and pull process of creating comes naturally to me.
As does the intuitive worrying approach, which I demonstrate through my drawings and print making. fabric, paper, canvas or wood all wait for me to express my views, beliefs and most personal ideas visually. I look for answers to my visual equations, encouraging the viewer to take in what I project.
